Here's a painting of an interior I did last year. I had alot of fun with this one which is strange because i didn't think painting a room would be fun. anywho, there's a rediculous amount of furniture in this room.

That actually looks exactly like a room in a friend of mine's house. Even with the color scheme and everything. Weird, right?
Anyway, very cool. I've been getting into painting lately, especially oils/realism. Did you work from life on this piece? Also, how long did it take you?

this one was worked from a photo reference and I think i spent 2 weeks on it.

I painted this in acrylic, though I've heard many people say they prefer oils.

I don't necessarily prefer one or another, but acrylic is a lot easier imho.

i've never actually painted in oil, but i hear it's very nice hehe. I'm pretty impatient though. the faster my paint dries the better!

thanks! it's not really my kind of room either. I like natural wood, earthtones, and the simple but pretty look of feng shui. you seem to me like a colorful contemporary type. am i far off?
