Holly has been Sophie's best friend since before most of their distinct memories, living with their respective mothers as they share a house and do life together. After Holly's experiment accidentally gave Sophie a QuARP (Quantum-Adjacent Rearrangement of Physiology), resulting in her transforming into a Bendy, a kind of former-human with body-stretching powers, Holly became a target of villain activity, trying to get her brilliant mind on their side! In the world of the 2020s, some Bendies go on a power trip and work for ill-gotten gain, and while Super-Agents like Phlex do help keep them in control, they can't be everywhere! Right about when Sophie was starting to get the hang of this whole "hero" thing, Holly got captured and placed under experiments, the goal being to alienate her from her family, and make her more complicit with the villain's demands! Sophie got Holly out of that situation, but Holly was left with some mutations regardless, the primary change being a pair of extra arms! Holly's nonchalant about the arms, since they improve her productivity more than anything else - the time spent modifying her shirts to accommodate the arms feels insignificant in comparison to the advantages! The problem is, the villain might have at least partially succeeded in driving a wedge between Holly and her mother, probably for very unfortunate reasons!

This ref was made by and I love how it turned out in their style! Super organic and believable, yet nicely stylized in their unique way! The arms all feel really natural, and Gio put a lot of time and thought into making sure they didn't look ridiculous! Gio does great work, and you should consider commissioning them!
