Welp, it finally happened - I finally got around to making a reference sheet for my main OC, Springtail (Sophie)!

This is the primary reference I've been using for commissions and my own art, but now finally finished, fleshed out, and made more presentable for a mass audience! As you can see, there's a bit of an implication about lore that I won't get into right now, but suffice to say I'm deeply rethinking the story, and I'm pretty excited with where the idea is going! Her overall origin hasn't changed much, but her role in the world has a bit, and the world around her has changed quite a bit too! There might be a bit more alluded to in Phoebe's reference later! ; )

I went back and forth on her design a fair bit, and brought in some new ideas over the couple years since I first posted something of her, but I'm feeling pretty good about this direction now - a combination of many years of ideas, from different stages in my life, collected into one, something that feels cohesive! I originally used a much crappier font because, idk, I wanted to be unique? But then I tried plain old Segoe Print, and it was so much better, so there you go! Also yes, there will be more refs of this template with different outfits in the future, but for now, here's the main suit you'll see her wearing in canon stuff!
