Wheee seems like I haven't uploaded anything in aaaagess! Anyway this was just a random side thing I did to demonstrate this composition style for my art course.Why Mantage? Because its a montage of men, see what I did there...eh?....eh?......

The smoke coming from Chris's cig makes an interesting contrast to the way the rest of the angles are sharp. I don't know if I like it or not yet.

I often draw smoke in a more Chinese cloud shape, its part of my drawing style. As smoke is more ethereal than flesh and blood it makes sense that it should contrast the figures.

I fucking love this, and I feel like if it had been colored it would have ruined it.
Leon's rocket launcher reminds me of a giant... oh I don't know, there's something about how he's clutching it so possessively that almost seems dirty to me, but that might just be because I'm a dirty fangirl.
Chris looks like he stepped right out of Cowboy Bebop, which is great because it suits him perfectly. And I just love the knife handle sticking up over his shoulder because it's so obvious and I'm just like 'jesus christ, Chris has a huge fucking knife.'
I have always loved Steve's gun. But look! He's holding two of them! Even better. I still haven't played Code Veronica so I'm kind of in the dark about Steve.
I love your fanart. Also, I should consider getting more sleep.

I thought the same way about my colouring, my skills aren't what they should be in that aspect.
The giant.....imagery was probably my main motivation for including the rocket launcher with Leon 
The reference picture I used for Chris' outfit had a REDUNKULOUSLY huge knife so I went with it
Steve's gold guns make me laugh, he has serious man bling! I haven't played CVX either but I have played DSC so I have only a little bit of Steve knowledge
