Cole usually keeps to himself at most times, due to the fear of discrimination for being a Coloured; even if he's in a room full of them. He tries his best to act at least somewhat happy, but deep down he doesn't want to be anywhere near Nocis; as it is a constant reminder that he is different. His crash caused minor recurring amnesia, having some of his childhood as blank spaces in his memory as well as a more current effect of forgetfulness, the continued reoccurrence of his amnesia has been narrowed down to the facility's treatments, much like the other patient's memory loss. He doesn't see the point in lying, seeing as it is not real and therefor has no worth; making him be almost a bit too honest when it comes to his opinion on his surrounds and company. While he believes himself to be one of the more 'mentally stable' patients, he doesn't let this cloud his judgement of people and believes everyone is equal no matter what; even if they're sticking needles in him. He feels as if he doesn't have his own personality, only a jumble of other's that serves as his own; picking up habits and speech patterns from his fellow inmates and merging them into himself, essentially becoming someone else depending on who is in front of him. He hates any kind of darkness, having one eye already pitch black; he is scared of the concept of full blindness, causing him to skip sleeping some nights and avoiding anywhere dark.

B I O G R A P H Y
Cole was born what everyone else would describe as 'normal'; the world around him in a constant monochrome of black and white. However after a severe car crash when he was 13, the trauma applied to his head changed the wiring of his brain; kick-starting a rapid acceleration in the development of his previously unnoticed Coloured gene, causing his world to no longer be monochrome but one with the addition of another colour; his colour.

The damage was originally thought to be only physical, having various cuts and afflictions over his body: Loss of sight in his right eye, his right arm becoming completely covered in scar tissue, and a multitude of scars. His first encounter with the strange concept of 'colour' was his first night out of the hospital, when his parents took him to the city as a celebration of his recovery, Cole saw a strange sign with an unfamiliar colour running through the illuminated letters; something that was purely impossible. After his parents labeled him as a trickster, everywhere he looked the was the same vibrant colour waiting for him. After arriving home he saw that his remaining eye had become the same colour, and a small section of his hair too.

For the years to come Cole was bullied for his 'ramblings' at school; as well as the damages to his body from the crash. He developed incredible social anxiety from this and kept to himself as he continued his research into the strange colour he kept seeing in the neon lights around his hometown.

He eventually admitted to his parents that he wasn't just seeing things and wanted to be checked for anything strange, being diagnosed as a 'Coloured' at the young age of 17, and instantly being handed over to Paragon to be 'corrected'.

>Cole tends to be two sides of the same coin at the same time; for example wanting to talk to people and socialize but at the same time being scared of talking to anyone.
>His arm is so heavily scarred that it's lost a slight amount of it's movement and function, forcing him to learn how to be left-handed
>His strange behavior when it comes to any structure object comes from a slight case of autism, the appeal of pulling it apart to see how it works overwhelming any sense of reason.
>He likes to sit by the statue for some reason, it gives him a sense of foundation
>He will try to hide as much of himself as possible when meeting new people, his arm usually behind his back or wearing his sleeves down over the bandages
>He spent most of his first year at Nocis with suicidal tendencies, but has since quit his attempts at his life
>He can be very forgetful, even forgetting his own name as well as the names of others
