My digital camera is technically a piece of shit. I can't control f-stop, shutterspeed, none of that.BUT, I have discovered that there are a few settings that I can control to get "creative".
Last month, it was exposure compensation.
This month, white balance settings.
For this photo, I set the white balance to tungsten.

Either must it be the fact that blue is the dominant color in this, or must it be it's giving a winter and cool effect, I must admit that I love the pic. Great job.

I know your pain about the crappy digital camera. I have an HP Photosmart 318 that has absolutely no controls. The fact that you can adjust your white balance alone makes me jealous I love the blue tone that the "tungsten/incadescant" white balance setting.

definitely diggin this piece man. gonna have to play with my white balances, I keep overlooking them.
the rule of thirds would help here, but I don't know which way I'd go with it. more sky on top would be better, but it would suck to lose that sense of depth to the image... though that could be fixed just by stepping back...
anyway.
at least you got your 15 minutes of fame.
