Description Hey all

I study Landscape Architecture at RMIT and this is basically one of my first ventures into trying to create a "Watercolour" effect (or Copic marker effect) on my illustrations.

These are trees for a PLAN. This may cut some time later on during my all nighters, plan ahead everyone!

I originally thought that digital colouring was plain and you cannot get the vibrancy that you can get from hand drawing

I think I am wrong XD

Hey all! I noticed that ever since I submitted these tree plans, there have been a lot of views and downloads!
Which is awesome, because that is what these plans are for, as beautiful trees in the landscape.

However as a request, I was wondering if it is possible, that if you use this in your plans or drawings (I'm assuming for Landscape Architecture or Garden Design or Architecture etc) that it would be good to post links to your works, or DA page featuring your drawings.

It is not to credit my stuff but rather it would be really nice to see what other designers have done and how they have used this as a medium of representation. And I believe many people would like to see other interesting drawings too!

Cheers~!

No worries! It was a while ago but how does the map look? I'm curious!
I've seen these trees pop up in maps throughout my university before!

Thanks for sharing these trees! I've used them to illustrate a map I've designed. It's part of a celebratory event so the map is more illustrative rather than an exact plan. My general design for the event uses ink and watercolour drawings so your trees have helped my map fit in comfortably.

Yes! I will, when I find the original PSD I had D:
But for now, its pretty easy to remove all white in Photoshop
And here is how I would remove all the white from the JPEG

> Rasterize in the way you find it appropriate
> Select (in Menu)
> Cick Color Range
> Click on any white on the image
> Click Ok
> (all the whites should be selected now) Press Delete!
> Clean up anything etc
