It's just another Maplestory fanart of mine. This time I chose to draw Mercedes- my favorite job in MS. I was inspired by the sadness of Ellin Forest. Our Guild used to come here very often and it reminds me of good memories when I was with them. Please don't be shy to tell me how you feel when looking at it and be free to point out my mistakes so I can draw better next time~ Thank you very much !!! <3

The perspective and the backdrop are both very nice and the colors fit together really nicely! (how do you even do perspective? XD ) Your colors are also well chosen and I find this overall very pleasant to look at.

Thank you for a great comment <3 Yes I agree that the color is too unclear I'll fix it to be more crisp :"D And the rain ; ___ ; It should be a heavy rain since Ellin forest is always raining. I tried but I didn't succeed.

I agree that rain is really hard to draw... Mostly, I think it looks like a bunch of silvery parallel(ish) lines. It helps to have the rain in the background as well as the foreground. Another thing that make help make rain look more convincing is having water droplets hanging off/dripping in certain places (off the corner of a leaf, hair, on the surface of a flower petal, etc.). I'm no master with drawing rain (I've only tried twice, lol) but I hope this is useful.
