Edit: Well...some of people here thought i should've asked permission before using the AVS presets as background.......sorry but i wasnt aware that it was not permitted...i just figured the skin was the main thing to see here not the background...the "art" uploaded was not the preview its the skin....
...anyways...ive changed the preview...i'm that easy to talk to...should've just said it to me personally instead of placing it on the comments here...those are reserved for people who have something to say about the skin...not the damn preview!
If you've been through my user page you'd prolly recognize the skin...its actually my devID...got a lot of request to make it a skin...so i figured why not...changed it a bit...but i think its still cool...took me a while to finish though..i'm too lazy...coding sucks!
..it was the GUI Olympics that made me finish up this skin...this was my first entry for the contest...actually got fifth in the most creative category...yey...but alas no medal...:/...check out the site here > [link] there's a lot of cool skins in the contest...

I love your ID and I was really happy when I heard you were preparing it as a skin for GUI Olympics (one more time congrats to the medal).
Awesome engine as usually, perfect use of those separated satelites, high usability (this is actually imho very low on most WA modern skin and I still mostly use WA 2.9) and your characteristic beautiful tubes and wires -> absolutelly perfect skin!
I think you're probably the best WA skinner here on DA and I really appreciate that you're the first deviant who gave me a ~watch long time ago. Keep skinning!

This is very diffucult. Basicly you did took snapshots of my AVS presets (the top 2) and ~zuku 's (the bottom one) and used them in the background of the preview, so technically it is ripping. Now i've stated in the comments that you can use parts of those presets to create your own presets, but taking snapshots of them and using them in your art (or preview of your art) is a very different and somewhat ackward situation.
But what i can't figure out no matter how much i think about it, is why? Surely you could've put something a lot better behind there since judging from the looks you're a awesome graphics artist. Why use some crappy presets and risk getting a policy violation for it?

Get over yourself dude. Sticking a couple of screen-caps of your AVS in the background of a preview is about as far from ripping as it's possible to get. To be honest, you should be happy to have had your stuff associated with such a funky Winamp skin.

Just to throw in my opinion, I didn't for one minute even look at the backgrounds, let alone think they were his...but then I'm not everyone.
VERY nice skin though - but unless you have alpha blending there's a few rouge pixels in the upper right, far away from the body of the skin.
