Edit: Well...some of people here thought i should've asked permission before using the AVS presets as background.......sorry but i wasnt aware that it was not permitted...i just figured the skin was the main thing to see here not the background...the "art" uploaded was not the preview its the skin....
...anyways...ive changed the preview...i'm that easy to talk to...should've just said it to me personally instead of placing it on the comments here...those are reserved for people who have something to say about the skin...not the damn preview!
If you've been through my user page you'd prolly recognize the skin...its actually my devID...got a lot of request to make it a skin...so i figured why not...changed it a bit...but i think its still cool...took me a while to finish though..i'm too lazy...coding sucks!
..it was the GUI Olympics that made me finish up this skin...this was my first entry for the contest...actually got fifth in the most creative category...yey...but alas no medal...:/...check out the site here > [link] there's a lot of cool skins in the contest...

Right, the download link is unfortunately broken, this & the .rar downloads are my nightmare ! Fortunately, I've had it for a few years in my computer, can't remember where I found it, I think it was a Russian site !! Still today, they are crazy about Winamp Skins over there ! You just click the down arrows a little bit everywhere, and after 15 minutes of trying, you get your skin.
I love this skin, it is really unique and much better-looking in reality than on this image, and in addition it has lots of very nice color themes.

I can only think of one improvement - on the "thinger", would be nice if each click of an arrow moved over one slot instead of semi-scrolling. Sometimes it's hard to stop it where I want it.
Otherwise, flawless work (besides a small artifact remaining in top-right area when switched to normal mode). Thanks so much for sharing this. It blows all my other skin choices out of the water!

It looks like a very cool skin. Though I can't tell firsthand cause the download isn't working for some strange reason. You might need to re-upload it cause of the DA restructuring....

Did you know theres a little black line on the top of the skin, kinda floating to the right and it has no purpose, put your skin on a light background and look. Just thought you should know. Amazing skin.

im at work so i havent had a chance to use it yet, but i definately will, it has everything id want in a skin as far as size and looks is concerned, ill check out how well it functions once im home
as for this ripping stuff... dude... people need to calm down, i mean if someone used my work in their stuff i wouldnt mind, in fact id be happy about it, someone actually would find a use for it

For some reason, I find myself strangely drawn to this. It's compact and cute, and at 1280x1024 I can just drag it whereever on the screen and it's unobtrusive. Dude, this skin is phat!

you merely used the avs as a background for the preview and not as a part of your submission (the skin for those with their heads up their asses), and nowhere did you claim ownership or authorship of the background, thus you did not violate any rules.
as for the skin: it's very nice. one of my favorites in the competition. though i think the component windows could have been improved to fit in better with the main player. (i'm assuming you're still using the component windows from 'six'. if you have changed it already, then please ignore this comment
