Description
This here is a little collage of Defcon, or "Devcon" if you prefer. His name never really came up in any print form like a comic or anything, so it's become rather subjective what his name should be. Appearantly, back in '85 the name "Defcon" was too nuclear-sounding for a kid's show (the name "Megatron" barely made the cut for the same reason), so it was just modified to mean basically the same thing. Fast-forward twenty-two years, and that's hardly a sensible reason anymore, plus "devcon" isn't even a word, while "Defcon" is a pretty bad-ass thing to name yourself, and it was what I figured his name was all along, so that's what I called him anyway.

The guy never had a toy made of him at all, and only appeared in one episode as an inter-galatic bounty hunter who was no-nonsene, and didn't like the company of slimey aliens despite helping them out. In that episode he transformed into some kind of surf-board, which isn't the coolest thing ever, but bonus points for making it look Cybertronian, or at least alien.
