Here is another fan-art of Slugslinger with his Targetmaster Partner named Caliburst. Except this time, Slugslinger is coloured to match his appearance in The Headmasters anime.

In that same anime (plus the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity as a whole), Caliburst is instead a robotic lifeform from the planet of Master, like the rest of the Targetmasters, and could only speak in a series of electronic beeps that only his bonded-partner Slugslinger could understand.
