Little is known about how he joined the conflict, but Slugslinger serves the Decepticon army with pure loyalty, so if you ask him to describe himself, he'll tell you all about how he'll never turn down a chance to duel anyone, because he knows he'll always win, as long as Caliburst (Slugslinger's Nebulan partner) still has some ammo left. His partner Caliburst is an Nebulan from Nebulos, loyal to the Hive dictator Lord Zarak, Caliburst's original flesh-and-blood body weakened due to continued use of his mental powers, forcing his brain to be transferred into a robotic body in order for him to survive which was embarrassing for him, but when he was binary-bonded to Slugslinger, his life would change as he was granted an exo-suit to wear so that it could enable him to become Slugslinger's gun. Upon introducing himself to Slugslinger, he told his partner that he never missed a shot in his life.
