Description
Here is an fan-art of Misfire's Targetmaster partner Aimless from the fourth and final season of The Transformers. He was voiced by the late Milt Jamin, who also voiced Blast Off, Prime Nova, Grax and Stylor. An Nebulan hailing from the planet of Nebulos, Aimless (real name unknown, but it could possibly be Liveonlytodestroyourmutualenemies, but regardless, he should've been called "Useless" due to his lack of marksmanship) is loyal to Hive dictator Lord Zarak. Like Monzo, Vorath, Spasma, Krunk, Nightstick, Fracas, Caliburst and Blowpipe, Aimless' original flesh-and-blood body weakened due to continued use of his mental powers, forcing his own brain to be transferred into a robotic body so that he could survive, though things would flip turn right side up when he was binary-bonded to the Decepticon known as Misfire, with Aimless gaining an exo-suit to wear so that he could become Misfire's gun. Upon introducing himself to Misfire, the soon-to-be-renamed-Aimless stated the he lives only to destroy their mutual enemies before transforming to gun mode and randomly firing in all directions, with Misfire renaming that Nebulan to Aimless because he felt that Aimless was a better name for a Nebulan who lacks marksmanship.
If Hasbro does lose the trademark to Aimless' name, I think they could call him Liveonlytodestroyourmutualenemies for laughs.
In the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity however, Aimless is instead a robotic lifeform from the planet of Master, like the rest of the Targetmasters, and could only speak in a series of electronic beeps that only his bonded-partner Misfire could understand.
His original G1 toy is known to be the most fragile of the Targetmaster partners due to the fact his legs are on a joint instead of a hinge. Unlucky to be Aimless.
Made with Paint.net on the 26th of March.
