Description *Allany , a few other friends, and I help teach an after-school Elementary school art class. We started Styrofoam 'block' printing.

Dude I never thought of using polystyrene to print! NNNNNGH EXCELLENT IDEA! I draw into it all time time as well!

How did you carve into it, did you use lino tools?

no, just a #2 pencil haha. I probably could have gotten more precise with something sharper, but hey, elementary school

I just used regular printing stuff from there, ink, roller, paper

Wow - I never thought of syrofoam as the block! Always using lino but this provides for a much more "free" style of illustration.(if you get me)
I can't wait to try this!

I like this-- the slight grain the Styrofoam added to it really gives it an over all ~desert~y feeling.

lol take a piece of styrofoam (or linoleum), carve a crude drawing, roll ink on it, stamp your masterpiece. They do it in art..

This is cute, I love it! I remember doing art projects like this as a kid, they were so much fun! And the style works very well for the mood of the picture TARDIS blue of course!
