Thanks. Sometimes, actually, when I look at a drawing I decided to sketch and shade in pencil, then compare it to how it looks inked, I go "Wow this looked SOOOO much better as a sketch, what the hell happened?"

may be in part that I can barely ink.

no, it is because since the lines and the shading are in the same tone, they fuse and make a good effect. Nicely done
