The China flag is CORRECT. It's the nationalist China flag, not the communist China flag, which is red with five yellow stars. The communist party hadn't won the Chinese Civil war yet, so they used the nationalist flag during WWII.

is it just me or are a couple of the flags are different than usual?

They are different.
The American flag has only 48 stars because there were only 48 states during WWII, Russia, or the Soviet Union at the time, used the red flag with the hammer and sickle and the Chinese flag was the nationalist flag, not the communist, red with five yellow stars.

It's not a switch, that's still China. XD That's the nationalist China flag while the red flag with the five stars is the communist China flag. The communists hadn't taken over yet during WWII, so they were using that flag.

I use Snagit to record, Windows Live Movie Maker to speed up the video and Sony Vegas Studio for editing.

It's a screen recording program that also takes screenshots that you can edit within it. I'd advise you just never ever use Jing, because it has a 5 minute limit. >_>;

Taiwan adopted the nationalist flag of China...that was China's flag back during World War Two giving the communists hadn't completely taken over yet.
