Jared can be outgoing if he chooses to be or at least when he needs to be. He is pretty charismatic and great at making people feel comfortable around him. When not on duty he will often keep to himself and usually only speaks to his chosen few but every one knows that he is the type that is always there to help when you need it. Whether you simply need someone to talk or someone to help you move a few things around he is always dependable. He is extremely protective of others even those he doesn't know and would always be the first to respond even when a stranger needed help with something.
He is loyal and patient with every one and has an inner strength that makes him the rock of most friendships. You can always count on him to never sugar coat things, he will tell you his honest opinion whether it's something you want to hear or not if he believes it is sometimes that you need to hear. Unless he is at work, he has learned to sugar coat a little bit when needed.
ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹA young boy who became a strong protector.
As a young boy he was happy growing up with his family in the farming section of the ship, he would spend his days with his mom while she tended to the fields. His mother grew watermelons and strawberries for the ship, so he grew up loving both. When he wasn't helping his mom he would run around the fields pretending to be a rocket ship, he was going to become captain of the ship one day after all or so he daydreamed. As he got a little older he eventually decided that instead of ship captain, he would become an engineer. He spent his younger years tinkering with whatever he could get his hands on, learning how to take things apart and put them back together. He was pretty good at it for a kid and could sometimes help to fix minor systems around their home. Though his mother wouldn't actually let him of course but when maintenance came in he would always assist and point out what should be done and he was often correct.
Eventually his perspective on life changed quite a bit when his parents brought another child into the world, he now had a little sister. After his younger sister was born he was raised being told that he always had to look out for his sister and protect her. That he had to be a strong big brother who was always there for her. As he grew up he took his role of protector very seriously, he loved watching anime especially the anime that focused on fighters, ninja, samurai, swordplay and decided he would become that. He spent his time after that training and learning martial arts so that he could become a true protector, not only for his younger sister but for every one on the ship.
As he became a teen he had finally decided that he wanted to be military like his father. He would follow in his footsteps and be strong and protect everyone, though as he got older his psychic sensitivities grew stronger as well. Sometimes he would go with his father to the military section just to see it, his dad was happy that his son wanted to follow in his path and was eager to show him around but as Jared looked around he began to sense something was off. While his ability isn't very well nurtured he couldn't tell just what it was but every time he always got a strange feeling, something inside him that told him to run the other way. He soon also began getting that feeling about his father when he'd come home from missions sometimes.
When he came of age to take the test and find out just where he'd be assigned to aide the ship for his life, his father was disappointed to find that his son had been assigned to security. Jared however was relieved, while he grew up as a small child idolizing the military as he grew into a man he began to see the little things that not every one noticed and was happy to be a part of them.
