Background done in illustrator, main figure in photoshop.Meant to represent the sounds of a bass, or something like that...

I think you should go back over the white areas to eliminate some of the noise.The background looks great, but the character doesn't pop because it's not too crist and theres a lot behind (and inside)
Also filling in the transparency on the character might achieve a similar result, but will still look a bit grainy compared to the background

i love these three pictures youve done, probebly this one the most tho. the smooth lines and jagged greens on the other 2 totally speak out the sound of the guitars to me, and this does the same with the bass. i love the main figures in all three, they all go so well! the coluors used are really good too!

It's hard to say exactly, the idea took a little while to develop, sketching different shapes and layouts. Then most of it was done in little bits of spare time, 15 minutes here, an hour there...
Also I did it about 3 years ago, so I don't really remember
