Description
Ambassador Sarek and his wife Amanda arrive at the USS Yorktown, having just arrived via courier shuttle. They are there to escort their son to his newest station: the USS Enterprize, seen in the distance. Sarek helps his wife out, for while a courier shuttle might be one of the few small faster than light ships, they are not known for their comfort. Their pilot, in the meanwhile, awaits further instructions from the bay master.

This image was created for TrekBBS's November 2020 Art Challenge: Star Trek Redux. Not your dad's Star Trek, but a whole different take on it. I've always liked Syd's excellent work and being able to pay homage to him and his awesome world building capabilities was an awesome challenge for me personally.
