She looks great with her hair up or down, but it's nice to see some drawings with her hair down. You rarely see it like that after Brawl came out.
I guess it makes sense that she wears a pony tail when on duty so that it doesn't get in the way, and wears it long when relaxing, as she it during the endings of some of the games.

They don't look good on Samus IMO.
Fusion Samus looked like a stunningly beautiful woman in her 30s and modern Samus looks like her bratty little sister. That ponytail has got to go!

Zero Mission seemed to offer the definitive appearance and hair style, but this outfit wasn't half bad. Was glad to see it as an alt in Smash (and amused that Sakurai felt the need to specify that the desginer was female).
