Description O.K. I finally gave up on this one. Was gonna give it a cool background yata yata yata but screw it. After 200 and some odd hours this is as clean as it got. FOR THE LIFE OF ME I really don't know why it took so long or why I stayed with it. Originally was gonna title this "Broach" but....

I know I was supposed to message a few of you that I have spoke to about this fractal but I erased my messages and can't remember all of you, sorry.

Hope you enjoy this painful painful fractal

It's a great work. 200 hours is a very long time did you zoom in to only a part of it or maybe it's very deep. If you have got the param's send them to me and I will try it on my computer.

I am enjoying it....very very beautiful...love the symmetry and color! The shine in the design is also quite beautiful!

It's lovely, like a jewel!

Around 48 hours is my record for holding on to a render. That is bad enough! But 200!?!??! You rock!

Personally I want a faster machine!

Thank you
That Jewel look is what I was aiming for. I initially titled this Broach and the reason was I was reading some Celtic art books that frequently referred to several "knotwork" broaches from various areas in the Celtic lands that were made from precious metals and some encrusted with gems. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to encrust this one with the gems though

I don't mean to offend but I think the word you want is 'brooch' - the piece of jewellery. LOL! Sorry - it's the English teacher in me!

Your jewel is great. You'll no doubt eventually make it encrusted with more!

Also you probably know there's a celtic formula in there somewhere! - MB3D I mean! I did one with that recently - series called Faith and Reason.

Thank you for the kind words. Speaking of gestation, I thought it may take as long as having a baby with this one. lol

You are very welcome. This is a great community of artists. Even in the other art categories within deviantART I don't think you will find a more appreciative, helpful and loving bunch of people than you will in the fractal art category to tell the truth.
