The path was short. The dawn was beginning, warm and clear, when they reached the boat waiting on the shore. Coming out from behind a coastal cliff, the princess involuntarily froze, amazed at the view of the most beautiful of the ships. Huge and graceful, he personified impetuosity and strength in every way. Having noticed them, the crew began to prepare for departure. For many years, this picture remained in front of the princess's eyes: a majestic ship spreading sails and the rising sun flooding them with gentle light. As soon as the arrivals were boarded, the ship moved out to sea. Amid the enthusiastic shouts of the crew, the man led the prisoner to the bow of the ship, where a strong pole stood like a mast at the very edge. He untied the girl's hands, and putting her on the edge of the side facing the sea, pulled her hands back, and leading her behind a pole, tied her wrists with a rope. Grabbing the edge of the dress, he tore it off with a sharp jerk, exposing the princess above the waist and making her scream. Taking a long rope, the man pulled it tightly to the post. "Look at your land, princess! Maybe you won't see her soon!" he said, tightening the knots. The girl's head was spinning. She had often wondered how the captives who fell into the hands of pirates felt, but she never thought that she would be in their place! Not her! The princess moaned helplessly. She stood at the very bow of a ship rapidly flying along the coast, the wind blew her hair and caressed her body, exposed to the whole world, as it seemed to her. She could feel the eyes of the crew and was glad that she was facing the sea. It seemed to her that people on the distant shore could perfectly see her, their princess, humiliatingly bolted half-naked to the bow of a pirate ship. The hair got in my eyes, and the ropes.... She could feel them crashing into her everywhere. It was so humiliating! But a new, unknown and pleasant feeling was emerging in her, warming and tingling. She flew over the water into an unknown future like a bird, a tightly bound bird.
Soon the coast disappeared in the distance, the ship turned into the open sea. The man returned, untied the princess from the pole and took her to a huge cabin in the stern.
"So, I know who you are, but my name is Albert, and this is my ship, the Black Swan." The princess couldn't help but moan plaintively. "Not him! Of course, she didn't understand right away! The Prince of the Emerald Isles, the most terrible pirate, about whom her ladies-in-waiting whispered with horror! And now she is in his hands"... A whirlwind of thoughts swept through her head, while the prince slowly and carefully looked at her. "What do you want from me?" the princess finally managed to say.
