What if the Templar Order, the main antagonistic organization of Assassin's Creed, replaced the Order of the Guardians in Miraculous?

What if the Order of the Guardians were replaced by a far more evil organization? What if Wang Fu purposely betrayed the organization he was apart of for the greater good? What if the wielders of the Miraculous all had a common foe? These what ifs resulted in making the idea of what if the Order of the Guardians was replaced by the Templar Order, the very ancient and secret transnational organization that strives to seize control of humanity for what they believe is uplifting their condition and inaugurating lasting, world peace but in truth are just tyrannical power-seeking conquerors. The Miraculous would take the role of the Pieces of Eden and Fu would have purposely betrayed them so they couldn't use these artifacts to take over the world. Oh yeah, if you want, you can also bring the Order of Assassins though they are not necessarily needed. Or you can just have Order of the Guardians stay and for them to have the same goals and ideals as the Templar Order.

What would change with Templar Order taking the Guardians' role?
Would they do the same things the Guardians did?
How would they feel about their new allies and enemies?
How would their new allies and enemies feel about them?
How dangerous of a threat would they be?
