This is a redesign of a piece I did a few weeks ago. The original, entitled "Back Wings 2," had some bold elements towards the bottom that I felt were unnecessary. Made with the pen tool, as usual.Related content

Hey bostick, remember me from another one of your fabulous tribals? Lol, probably not. I've been away from DA for a while due to the prision that is called my last year in High School. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that I absolutely LOVE these wings.
Do you mind if I use them for a base of a tattoo design I'm planning for my back? It's a tribal crow/or raven and the only problem I had for it was coming up with the wings, mine never looked right. These are by far the best tribal wings I've seen and I can already see what I want on paper in my head. Pretty pretty please? Lol, with a cherry on top?

Thank you, I very much appreciate your comments. I do use the mouse for all my designs. The pen tool isn't really difficult if you use the direct path tool a lot with it. I'd love to see work from you with the pen tool, it's much easier for me in Photoshop than in Illustrator for some reason. I learned from Photoshop 7 Classroom in a Book and I would've never figured it out if it weren't for that book.

Man I hate Illustrator for some dam reason lol...but i can use the pen tool,i've used ps for years,and always loved it.i just started doing 3d about febuary and it was all I used before cinema 4d.But I should get back into the pen tool,cuz I can export then import into c4d and use the shapes as splines and turn them into 3d.That's why would like to do a collab with you one day,might turn out preety cool.
