You know what would be nice? Seeing some of the Cutie Map sprites, like the "QUIET!", "I didn't listen" and Twilight's "WTF" face. Of course, it's not taken as a request, I know how good part of the spriters left the project.
I also see Rarity's "Eww" expression on the program already. Who made it?

Yeah, more animations are always a nice thing. Many ponies (especially the background ones) are still very basic, but I guess people (or at least spriters) are just not as interested in this project anymore as they used to be.
If you mean the one I think you mean, well, that awesome sprite was made by . I have no idea why he never added it to his gallery.

Well, I found it pretty funny when I saw Rarity doing that on my desktop. But yeah, taking little steps to make nice sets!

Seing as it's an infinite loop, i'd like to imagine she's running on a conveyor belt x3

Indeed she could.
A lot of them are still missing sleeping animations which is ;-;

Yeah, that's the problem with only having a very limited amount of active spriters at the moment.

Ah.
And I don't think I'd be able to help much with making sprites.
Edit:
I guess I'll might as well ask whilst I'm here. I'd like to use these sprites for a userscript that adds interactive ponies to fimfiction. At the moment I have a link back to the DA group but would you like me to credit you specifically?
Also I have a bit of a problem with some of the sprites. The sunset shimmer ones bug out a lot when combined with css transformations to get the left facing, and I've found the twilicorn ones do the same.

You mean something like Browser Ponies? Yeah, if you give credit to the Desktop Ponies group as a whoe for the sprites, that's fine with me.
Sadly, I have no idea why the sprites of those two characters glitch like that.

Something like that yes. Although it's written slightly differently.
I was able to fix some of the Sunset ones by re-saving them. I think it's something to do with the timings.
It also seems to only happen in firefox.

How strange. I didn't do anything differently with them. No idea why they won't work correctly in Firefox...

Thinking about it, it might just be a quirk of whatever program you used. I didn't make any changes to the sprites at all, except that the software I used doesn't support individual timings on frames. I just set it to 500ms.

That's quite possible. So far, all of the programs I've used to make gifs had one quirk or the other, so I use a mixture of them to try and fix each others problems, which definitely is a less than ideal solution that could potentially lead to even more problems. It wouldn't really surprise me.

Photoshop Elements seems to to work ok. Gimp I'm not so sure, might have the same problem.
I'll leave you to do your things. At some point I'll just have to apply the same fix to the twilight ones, until you eventually figure it out.
If you need to test you can just let me know and I'll link you to the script, since it's the only thing I know that produces the right conditions for the error to occur.

Actually, I've just found out that the sprites of the ponies you mentioned also glitch in Browser Ponies. And again, only in Firefox, at least as far as I can tell.
Oh well, as long as they work fine in Desktop Ponies, which is what the sprites were originally made for, that's good enough for me. Sorry, but I'm not going to test all of my sprites for compatibility issues with every possible script/browser/program/whatever. Thanks for your offer of linking me to the script, though.

No problem.
I meant it as more something to help figure out how to fix or avoid the problem with future sprites.
It would be a hell of a job to test all the one's you've done.

Yeah, but like I said, as long as the sprites work for the intended program, that's good enough for me.
Besides, I think that the sprites go through an "optimization" process before being added to the Desktop Ponies program to save space, so if the glitch only turns up with the sprites from the program but not the same sprites from my gallery (which are the unoptimized ones), that's outside of my control.
Hmm, now I'm curious: which sprites have you tried?

*checks*
Quite a number of them actually.
Of yours:
Pipsqueak, Fluffle Puff, Babs Seed, Seabreeze, Farmpony Rarity, Flutterbat, the sleeping Pinkie, and galloping Scootaloo all work fine.
Sunset idle/trotting/galloping, have the bug and I can't tell which of the princess Twilight ones have it yet. I assume all of them (9).
I also have a bunch embedded from desktop ponies that I couldn't find on-line, they're fine. And I haven't seen it with any other artist's sprites.

Hmm... okay...
It seems so odd to me that (at least out of these ones) only two single characters have a whole bunch of glitched sprites instead of a more even distribution among all of these ponies. At the moment, I have no clue what could have gone wrong there.
Oh well, thanks anyway.

Seems the sunset ones from desktop ponies are, while better, still sightly bugged. But between my ones and the idle one from desktop ponies I'm able to get a full working set.
Thanks as well, and bye-bye.

(Can't edit my comment for some reason)
Actually, what you said about the desktop ponies version being optimised gives me an idea. That has most of the Princess Twilight and Sunset ones so I can switch to using those instead. Perhaps they'll work better and I won't have to fiddle with them myself.
I always just assumed they were the same sprites.
