Very cute and well made. I've gotta figure out how you got the back part of her mane to look so smooth so I can adjust my OC avatar.

Thank you.
And the secret to smooth looking manes is simply avoiding jagged lines, kinda like this:Β sta.sh/01untuz37hms

I'm going to look into that, thank you for the tip and reference image. When you drew the right side of her mane was the part coming off the top of her head and the layer behind that included in the same frames?
Also there are little white specs appearing in one of the frames outlining my OCs tail in my avatar photo. What could cause that? And what do I need to look for to get rid of that? I appreciate any advice

In this specific case, all of the mane was drawn on a single layer in front of the pony layer, if that's what you wanted to know. It really depends on the type of mane though.
And about those specks, those appear because the tail is slightly blurred in some of the frames. Since only a single color can be made transparent, these blurred parts stay fully visible. I'm not sure what tool you used to animate the tail, but if the option is available, deactivating "anti-alias" should prevent this from happening. Alternatively, you can remove the specks manually by simply replacing them with the exact background color, making the outline crisp and clean.
I hope this helps.

I used adobe Photoshop to make the animation, but I'm going to give those tips a try. Thank you again for the advice

While I appreciate it, I prefer to make my own decisions on who to watch.

If you want to use it as an avatar, you just have to crop/resize it to 50x50 pixels. Then you can use it like normal.

Then I've got no idea. Did you try the thumbnail code? Or just look it up in dA's FAQ.

Yeah, the legs in the back might have turned out a bit too yellow...
*sigh* I guess I need to find another monitor. This one is just no good when it comes to displaying the correct colors. But thanks
