Gall Force, you so crazy. A couple of months ago, I watched my old copy of Eternal Story that I taped off the SciFi channel's "Saturday Anime" back in the 90's. Story was even more out there than I remembered and it was driving my wife up the wall, but I guess that is part of the charm. One thing is for sure. Designs by Kenichi Sonoda are going to grab my attention.

yeah it was his designs that drew me to gall force in the first place, Rhea and Earth are my faves out of the lot mainly cos they were clearly inspired by the future war sequence from terminator plus the body count on the main characters is considerably lower. xD

Never heard of this anime before until now. Been watching old WWII cartoons made by the US Army Signal Corps to educate and boost the morale the troops.
They were called Private SNAFU ('Situation Normal, All Fouled Up). [link]

think i saw a thing about them on my looney toons boxset, yeah this anime is done in two parts the first bit is gall force rhea, its like a film, then the next bit is a three parter called earth chapter
