Description
Did some tests with the Realflow for C4D plugin. It includes a nice little elastic (soft body) tool. What makes this especially useful is that it can handle objects with somewhat heavy geometry and odd shapes. These toilets, for example, are around 40k polygons each, and oddly shaped. This would be largely undoable natively in C4D (soft body would explode the geometry or crash the app itself.) With the Realflow plugin there were no crashes and the sim time was only a minute or so.It should be worth mentioning that I tried this same effect in Houdini using the FEM tool, and the toilet's geometry was not having it at all: Houdini either crashed or locked up on me (or the geometry itself would explode.) Houdini tetrahedralizes the geometry (essentially filling the object with geometry), RealFlow actually fills the object with particles. This is efficient because it's the particles--not the geometry--which is being simulated.

do you have some special hardware or rather normal? I just wonder how fast that kind of scenes are rendering

Rubber toilets! I wonder if that'll be a thing in the future. xD
