Description
Click Download to view! Finally, something more interesting! I actually went waaaaay overboard for that one, and this is actually the biggest overdoing-case I've done so far. The assignment was to play around with weight and gravity, and to animate two bags in interaction, one filled with flour and one with feathers. The asked number of drawings was 92... I did 216. The length was 8 seconds, and I did 24!
I had so much fun though, to finally animate something with personality (rather than bland rolling/bouncing balls). Fun gets me carried away. I did this in about... let's say... ten or twelve hours, which is not that bad. I got the week-end homework free, hurray for discipline!
There are some tiny errors with the corners of the bags sometimes, but nothing all that big that really catches the eye, and I'm not sure if we really see the difference between the light and the heavy one, but I'm really pleased with it overall. Too bad the camera was crooked, because they were actually walking straight on my sheet... bah, humbug.
216 drawings, 10+ hours

Super belle job. Continue comme ça.

Bah, le sac de plume est super bouncy, l'autre a un gros derriere, you know the drill.... Merci!

Man, that's absolutely amazing that you managed to do that in a little over ten hours. Seriously. Know lots of animation people and this woulda taken them FOREVER. Not that that's a bad thing. It just makes this amazingly impressive.
I really like the interaction of the bags. I think I understand fairly clearly which one is which (unless I'm really stupid) and I really really like the different personalities you gave them accordingly. The fat and lazy one versus the more playful light one. It's really cute! And I love how instead of using the top flaps as arms like most things, you used them kind of like ears. It was really cute.
Overall, I am talking a lot, but it's awesome! Rock on man. +fav

Lovely, truely lovely. I did take a class in animation, but as you said, all we ever did were bouncing balls, and a transformation as well.
I was told however, how a lot of animators practice by giving innanimate (sp?) objects a personality, and I think you captured that rather well! You can definitly tell each other's personality yet they are plain characters. Very well done! I'm quite impressed!
Also impressed by your patience, because I recall I had none for this XD

Bon travail!
