Okay, this is going in Film 'cause the Animation section doesn't want to upload it and I'm tired of waiting.This was for my Character Animation class again. The assignment was to animate something mundane with a twist ending. The length of it was (as usual) impossible to do in a one week deadline, so I decided to take my revenge and do something really dumb and easy... which is practically NOTHING at all!
So yeah, the whole thing is almost only cycles. I find it hilarious that I could make it last for 43 seconds. I find it quite sad though that the teacher didn't pick up on my sarcasm...
Sadly the camera was shaking when I shot it, so the guy's moving all over the place when he chews. It wasn't loose pegs, I swear.

I love the little scratch and the flailing arms. The timing of the chew is excellent too. How do you approach the boil line technique, or was it unintentional?

Most of it is achieved by re-tracing the same drawings a few times (ie. 3), but the camera was shaking so much it also added in some extra effect...

i tried the boil look before in flash, its probably due to my wacom skills, the boil lines was too crazy.

Oh---it has to be very subtle for it to work well. Like I said I just retraced the same drawing with as much accuracy as possible.

I love the shape of his mouth and the motion of his jaw as he chews. Even if it is just the same things cycled round and round it's still very funny and beyond anything that I would be capable of.

Hahaaaa l'assiette est partie!! J'ai beaucoup aimΓ© son anticipation de la main quand y prend sa toast. Mais une chose qui me dΓ©range un peu c'est quand la toast sort, a revole pas assez dans les airs, ou peut etre que c'est juste le timing mais ya quelque chose dans la toast qui sort.
