Following with my Metroid Fusion theme, I decided to do Ridley as he appears in that game. Ridley-X had an awesomely complex sprite, and I think out of all the games, he had the most impactual screech. I seriously get chills when I heard it. It's one of two game sound effects that genuinely give me chills when I hear them, probably because I can't pinpoint exactly what sounds they used as their inspirations when creating them. Is Ridley's screech a bird cry? Who knows?
