So, my inking skills have gotten to the point that I've started experimenting with base colors! Unfortunately, I'm pretty bad at drawing digitally, so learning to do shading and highlights might take a while. I suppose it might end up being my next year's resolution!I really wish I had one of those tablets you could actually draw on, though... something to consider next year, I suppose.
But experimenting with doing base colors, I was able to end up doing this reference for Maid Mischa!

When drawing female characters, try making the upper line of the eye a bit thicker than the lower one. Still, I like how you managed to draw the angle of the face.

The airvalve could be white, admittedly. I always pictured it that sort of clear style beachballs and the like have, which is hard to represent in color. X3

Yeah, transparency colour is sorta a grayish? Blah. I can't imagine "accidentally" tripping into the air valve where it is placed, though the deflationing would be easy as heck to accidentally do.
