Actually, they were stranded in a desert with no water, when Sokka found a cactus; him and MoMo started drinking the "water" inside of it and Katara refused to drink it. She also told Toph no when Toph asked for some cactus juice!

Either one could work. I mentioned absinthe because it is an alcoholic drink that is said to cause hallucinations and "love effects."
