So this whole thing is a big experiment. It's the first time i've ever painted a realistic skin color, fire, a somewhat dynamic background or used myself. Yay for progress!I still don't really know about this one so any critiques or really just anything is appreciated. I feel like I still need to work on overall tone and lighting.

Its awesome. Maybe as you said add some color to the skin tone and add some more shading here and there, and waa laa masterpiece. I love the concept its almost as if mother universe is creating a new star.
