It was flawless (I'm being serious here, no errors), I'm quite in awe; I always imagined german to be an awful language to learn what with the der/die/das business and all the temp forms XD;

hah, vielen Dank,aber ich bin ganz sicher, dass there's bound to be plenty of mistakes and other crazy Fehler when i will start using phrases and words i never used before : PPPPP XDDD (and you will be telling me you cant use that word in that meaning XDDD thats the best part of looking stuff up in dictionary XDD) when I write essays in german the prof always returns them to me all red because of underlined mistakes /sigh

because you know, all those years at school we only learn subjects like "school life" "work" "sports" "finding way" and other uninspiring topics like that, and i keep promising myself i'll start reading some interesting books or find fics in german and learn myself like i did with english, but after german in uni i am so brainwahsed and so disheartened from this language that all the promises I made before don't matter to me anymore so it's like a neverending circle in which i go like "why read german when in english it's so much quicker and better" D: but i really really wanna learn german nicely <:3

Cartoon Network as my teacher, far more than school, and later books. English movies. THat's what really schooled me in the language. And writing so much online ^^
