Villain can be 'Bösewicht', though that also has a certain cartoonish ring to it. Like I dunno, it makes me think of Negaduck or something XD
A noun is no good here, they all sound kinda cartoonish, the only other one that comes to mind is 'Übeltäter' and that's really weird LOL
An adjective is better here, use 'er sieht böse/gemein/gefährlich aus' LOL
As far as I'm concerned the english ones all sound better than what I can think of in german XD

Elric von Melniboné von Michael Moorcock. Die Hauptstoryline umfasst mal eben 6 Bücher, hab ne Gesamtausgabe, ist nen rechter Wälzer ^^

Michael Moorcock, jetzt fällts mir wieder ein... kenn den noch aus den 80ern, nie gelesen, aber fand die Illus immer gut.
Die malt er soweit ich weiss immer selber... Cooles Design.... Ich glaub ich hab doch noch kein Alziheimi...schnell mal zum Spiegel und gucken ob der Bart wieder in paar graue Strähnen verloren hat!!!

Hmm, also original waren die Bücher von James Cawthorn illustriert ^^ Aber es gibt soviele gute Zeichner, die Illus zu Elric angefertigt haben. Ich hab ja allein zwei verschiedene Comic Versionen hier rumfliegen und nen von Rodney Matthews illustriertes Buch. Ich sammel da ja alles was ich in die Finger kriegen kann

Hmmm, also ich hab immer große Probleme Leute für die Bücher zu begeistern.
Der Schreibstil ist teilweise sehr unterschiedlich in der Qualität (einiges sind halt Romane, anderes ist zuerst kapitelweise in Magazinen erschienen). Die Bücher haben gewissermaßen das Antiheld-genre mit aus der Taufe gehoben und ich mag Moorcock's Ideen generell, wie er seine Welt (oder vielmehr sein Universum) aufgebaut hat.
Den meisten Leuten denen ich sie ans Herz gelegt hab, haben nach dem ersten Band aufgegeben, weil's ihnen zu langweilig war oder ihnen der Schreibstil nicht zugesagt hat
Bei Gelegenheit mal reinlesen würd ich sagen?

Original ist lustigerweise der letzte Band der Serie zuerst erschienen und Moorcock hat danach die Stroy weiter ausgebaut ^^ Also wenn du in Erscheinungsreihenfgolge vorgehen wolltest wär das hier der erste: gebraucht für 1 Cent! XD .
