I promised more photos from my trip to Venice last summer. I finally got to look a bit more into some of them - and chose to start out with a little collection of photos from the awesome island of Burano!

This island used to be a small fisherman's society, where they for some reason painted all their houses in all these amazing colors - it's a paradise for a photographer! I could walk around there in several days, just snapping away at least ten times per minute. Unfortunately, I was there with other people (non-photographers I may say!), and I guess it would have been a little evil to them to keep them there for the rest of the holidays!

I really like this photo because of the difference between the dark and the light side on either side of the street, and because of all those flowers. The pavement on the street was really beautiful
