Description
A red gerbera from a bouquet I got the other day. I spent more than an hour roaming around it with my macro lens trying to get some really cool photos! It ended up with about seven photos that I really liked, and these make up this little series. This photo once again shows the little yellow things in the middle of the flower, but this time not as close. I really like the texture of them
As always, please give your opinions - I am always happy for some honest critique and feedback

First impression was that DOF might be a little misplaced here, as the picture doesn't have much sense of depth, therefore it merely confuses. However, looking at the technical details I realized there was little you could have done to avoid that. With f/18 that's probably almost as closed as the lens' aperture allowed
Composition-wise it's interesting; it would probably also look great in square with the center of the blossom in a corner of the iamge.
