I did it in 3D program - it allows you do whatever you want
However I think it IS possible to tangle the real needle such a way. It needs to be heated to anneal the steel

Really dig this. At first I thought it was a photo. Then I said "how the hell did the needle get bent???", then I looked at the category. Great stuff.

actually it IS possible to tangle the needle by heating it over a gas flame, but why trouble ourselfes, when we have 3D programs?

thanks. it was just a quick idea, which i finalized within 2 days (50% of the time was devoted to rendering )
