Description
I really love this animation. It's really fluid, and I conquered my challenge of turning head directions.
Sprite and animation by me. I do not do human animation for commission, so please do not ask.

I'd prefer that all of my characters stay with my own projects.Β
If you want though. You could commission me to make you a character. :b

Well the currency of deviantART are points. If you wanted to commission me to make you a trainer sprite, you'd need to supply me a design, and I'd sprite it for 150 points.
Then if you wanted an animation, it's 250 points. If you wanted both it would be 400 points.
It's about $4.00 in real life currency if you were buy the points from deviantART.
If you don't have points, you can either do so by buying the points with real money, or you can do so by doing commissions for other people. (or you could somehow get people to donate some to you.) :b

I've been interested in learning how to do sprite animations. Was this pretty hard to do? It looks awesome, btw.

Wow this is incredible!
Question: What did you use to animate it so fluidly?

Yes I see, but how did you rotate certain parts? o:
I tried with photoshop but after I rotate the sprite, it's all blurry. ono;

Yeah, that's a problem most rotation tool have. First before doing anything I rip off every thing on the sprite (Like legs, arms, or anything you plan on rotating.)
When using the rotating tool, it should look pixely while you are actually doing the rotating. Take a screenshot of the page when it's rotating instead of pressing confirm or ok. Then paste that screenshot somewhere and use those.
I hope that made sence :/

Thanks! Is there any special program that alows you to do animations like this? If so is it free?

BR0DE0 In reply to rayquazathree84 [2012-08-13 02:13:01 +0000 UTC]
I normally make my animations on Gimp2.
I got it a long time ago, so I assume it's free (either that or I got it a non legal way :3)
However it's not a very good animation program. The only reason I used it was for the rotating tool.
For this one, I used Flash8 a $700 art program, but download the trial on adobe.com, and then when you download it, you have an option to type in your order confirmation password to prove that you bought it. All of the passwords are the same... So just google it and you've just recieved a 700 dollar art program for free...
Hope that helps. Flash8 is much more professional
