Description
Made for a college work.The battle between Nightmare Moon and the Princess Celestia before she was obligated to use the elements of harmony.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that but that's how I wanted to draw it XD.

I think it's about what happened, more or less. Celestia couldn't defeat Luna/NMM without the elements so she probably took a few hits. She might have been holding back too, not wishing to hurt her sister whereas Nightmare Moon had no such qualms. Nice pic, hope you got a good grade.

The lightnings are great. Also the blood streaks. Great drawing, for me it can be the very finale of the battle, when Celestia realizes she has no other choice than Elements. Thus the tears, knowing this means banishment for her sister.

Yep, that's pretty much what I tried to represent, but I draw the tears mostly for her sadness for seeing the sudden rebellion and transformation of her sister, with her without knowing any reason for that.
