I had a relative who did x-rays and sonography by the looks of this person they are growing out a sort of muzzle/beak with dog like teeth the muzzle beak suggest's it is split in the middle of the mouth and the cranium is bigger than an average adolescent plus those line things leading out of it's mouth suggest 2 or 1 1/2 tounges

Hey thats a pretty accurate assessment of the kind of anomolies I had planned for the original Subject Zero.
The muzzle area was originally designed to be a cross between mandibles and a beak, with the lower jaw being split where the lips would be in addition to the jaw-bones being on a swivel-ball joint and not a hinged joint.
The premise was to have the muzzle area hyper-extend to accommodate the back area of a human head and the beak would act as a 'can-opener' of sorts.

I'm also wondering what and how they would fit into an enviroment (like how a fish can only live in water but not in a desert)

Dude, did you make this from scratch?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BradRigney In reply to CatalanoMedia [2010-05-10 23:39:04 +0000 UTC]

I did indeed!
I poked around the internet for some images of x-rays and looked at them so the hand-drawn result was accurate to the value and color.

I didnt know what you meant until I googled it.
Looks like a fun game but nope, no cigar. My idea is more akin to a D&D mind flayer or spawn of cthulhu.

I was always curious to try drawing an x-ray image, but never had a proper context to use it in an illustration or a concept.

It's great to see someone achieve a great result with something so complex in nature and so unintuitive for drawing )

Awesome work
