Third attempt, still not 100% happy buuut I like this one waaay more than my first two attempts

Background and Personality traits

-Amber is the only child of the Kirin Village's very own Autumn Blaze and eldest (and illegitimate) daughter of Applejack. A mare of very few words, Amber is incredibly helpful, caring and kind, though she may appear stand offish. You could spot her a mile away, her height is only bested by Rain Shine.

-Autumn Blaze fell pregnant during Applejack's second (and prob final) visit to the village. See, I speculate that, once ascended, Alicorn's give some sort of blessing/gift to the ponies of Equestria. Cadence's was that everyone has a second half, a soulmate if you will, and you and your soulmate can have a biological child regardless (and in absence) of their sex/a sex changing spell. (so two mares can spawn a bab and two stallions can spawn a bab, don't ask me how it works cuz i dunno lmao)

-Autumn thought long and hard about whether or not she'd tell AJ of her child, and shortly after Amber's birth she ventured to find her friend, only to find the orange mare happily married to a duke. She didn't want to interfere or complicate it, and ultimately decided against telling her.

-She was very bubbly and outgoing as a kid, always yammering on about something. When she wasn't talking, she was getting into heaps of trouble. You could often find her pulling harmless (but infuriating) pranks on the rest of the village, though no one could seem to stay mad at her for too long.

-Never actually grows hair on her chest, though it does get really fluffy in the winter. Felt like she didn't look like her mama all that much because of it so she tied her long hair together over her chest and it's just how she wears it now. (The entire village almost died when tiny Amber waddled around one day with this long mane dragging on the ground between her hooves as she walked)

-Amber grew up unaware of her pony mother, though she was very conscious that (even without anyone outright saying it) she wasn't a pure-blood kirin. The entire villiage, as they usually do with their young, pitched in to raise Amber. She was occasionally picked on for her lack of scales and less droopy ears (I agree with the headcannon that Kirin are closer related to deer than ponies) and thus she acted out a bit with her pranks, even running away into the forest a few times.

-Grew up very close with Rain Shine, adopting the leader as her granny. Rain Shine doesn't mind.

-The Kirin Village became quite the hot spot for daring tourists, and they were always greeted with polite albeit cautious welcomes. Once some sort of witch came to the village, hoping to snag a few shed kirin antlers which can make for a very powerful alchemy ingredient. Alas, she came the wrong time of year and tried to take antlers by force. She was driven away by very angry Nirik's. Rain Shine made the decision to shut down the trade routes and turn away all visitors, save maybe Applejack and Fluttershy.

-Once she reached teenage years she matured, not acting out and falling quieter as the years grew on. She's very very close with her mother and Rain Shine, wary and untrusting of anyone unfamiliar. This is when she became the defender of her village, possessing incredible strength from her ma. She's probably intimidating some poor shmuck who wanted to meet a kirin in the picture.

-Her 'maturity' kinda spikes from the fact that she (literally) only knows half of her culture and struggles with her identity a lot internally.

-Will prob venture to find AJ soon and drag her back kicking and screaming if she must to reunite her and Autumn.

Will 100% be welcomed into the ever-growing Apple Clan with wide open hooves, and Blueblood (while low-key salty, dammit woman I've already got three crotch spawn. What's that? She doesn't have a father figure? Get over here kid ima raise you proper) does accept his step-daughter too.

-Hoof-wrestles with her cousins and uncle mac, prolly wins like 95% of the time. Mac's not sulking, you're sulking

-Hecka blunt honesty. Could just be listing some of your negative traits, feel like she's roasting you. No bs attitude.

-OK but seriously though, the Apples would totally help her come out of her shell more, bringing out her sense of humour. Her humour is very much a 'blink and you'll miss it', most of her jokes flies over ponies heads until like a day later when they go 'oh shit that was fkin funny'
