Description A Scrambler from Peter Watt's Blindsight . Credit for inspiration comes from a photo of his that you can drag up from somewhere in his crawl. Whatever works.

Took about 40 hours or so to make. 10 Arms, 3 feet in length each, and the body being 18 inches in diameter.

Thanks for looking! Its for a project for school. A "media artifact" they call it.

Well, at least it doesn't have those deadly magnetic fields to probe my thoughts...

Very cool - I've not seen plushie fan art in any fandoms before. I like the striated pattern on everything, too.

Well, the only plushie fan art I can think of is the plethora of Cthulu dolls that are floating around the internet nowadays.

Thanks though!

Same here, that's what caught my eye.

Are the tentacles pre-shaped or do you have something rigid but flexible running down through each, like heavy gauge wire?

They weren't pre-shaped, but the way the scales were cut ended up giving it a bit of a natural curve.

After I stuffed it, I used coathangers that I had pulled apart and straightened them out to use in the arms. Its what allowed me to actually suspend it from the roof and walls - the wire can be bent around the piping and give it some extra strength.

I'm going to start working on some smaller scramblers soon. If I just use small amounts of stuffing, then the wire use can be avoided.

That site is pretty interesting. Very neat little buddy you made here. I kind of want to give it a hug.
