Description
I'm tired and feeling poopyI incurred the wrath of the great smashmethod somehow by commenting on her journal.
Thought I'd stick up a wireframe view of the teleport bin during it's final stages of construction for the finished rendering:
['self-motivated vegetarian toothworm, from hard to pronounce nebula, gets modelling debut in a major ad campaign']

who knows, there might be some who like that sort of thing - I'll move it into the scraps soon...
Note: There is some excessive polygons in there. yeah, yeah, Polygon abuse!!! hehehe! Well, it's not for realtime, so it ain't such a big deal...
BrainCode Tip: High facet counts particularly on edges are useful for coaxing lighting and shading detail on edges. not a lot of people know that. Sometimes its worth lookinginto rounding those hard edges if you want the edge to have a glint of light. (perhaps they tell you this at design school/college. I wouldn't know -I flunked at school)

meh! not to worry, I just posted a remark on Smashmethod's journal, and she got nasty at me...it wasn't anything bad that I said, really...... but no big deal. I felt crappy for a while, it left a bad taste in the mouth.
Yeah, the mesh is clean, primarily because the model was created using subdivision modelling-type tools. I like working tht way. Clean meshes look cool, too? It sort of appears like you know what your doing.

I bet you could do 3D easily!
It just looks more complicated than it really is!

It would be interesting to see how it turns out...

When my polygons got abused, my daddy would give me ice cream and then take pictures of me.
[This is unneccesarily distressing.]

there, there.... let it out.... it's ok......
