Miss grim reaper's showing some flesh.It's a little inspired by Guilty Gear's Testament.
I made this for a friend who said "draw me something. Anything.".

I can understand your feelings in that regard. I've known many good artists that don't put much stock into their own work...that think that what they produce is "ok" or "average, I guess" and don't realize just how great they really are.
I've been struggling for a while now with developing a drawing technique for original work that's at once all my own and also easy and flowing and seemingly natural. Most of my originals come out somehow stiff or flat. I haven't found that spark or edge that will let me overcome that hurdle. My inspiration for such comes and goes and I'm ashamed to say that sometimes I leave my art by the wayside for long periods of time.
However...Just when I'm least expecting it, I'll stumble across a piece of artwork that I just can't help but stop to admire. The clean lines, the perfect proportions of the body, the texture of the clothing and accessories (in this case scythe, cloak and wings), the natural look to the overal character....hell, even the way she seems to spring off of the page.....and that's something you can do with a pencil!!
So yes, I do enjoy your art that much. Consider yourself watched my friend.
