Seriously, one second everypony celebrates Lunas return the next everyone forgets all about it.Rainbow Dash and Twilight aren't there because they don't seem to fear Luna in her episode, which probably means they didn't have their memories wiped.

OBJECTION! There are two major contradictions with your theory.
A: luna's hair and overall appearance did resemble nightmare moon in Season2 ep.4 thus everyone assumed she went back to her own ways.
B: ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE, that phase summarizes the second reason.

hey have you seen the youtube video where Twilight summons Phoenix write to be her lawyer? if you haven't I suggest you do it's done pretty good. and not just random clips put together but actual work was done to make it.

That was because the show had 2 different companies working on it (1 in house and the other out)
In House made the 2 parter, Out made everything else, if I remember right Out finished before In did
so thats why Luna never appered in season 1.
