I've promised myself that I'll start making a new comic as soon as I complete Mass Effect 3, but I had totally different plans!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game pretty much, even if it looks like Mass Effect 2 with some downgrades. That ending... Damn, I can't remember when I was disappointed so much last time. So... I put my disappointment into this. I wish someone could warn me like that
The main theme is, of course, Mass Effect, and I think it's easy to see some Metal Gear stuff. Also there are references to Metalocalypse (gosh, I hope I made it recognizable enough) and Red Alert 3. Can you find them?

Well it wasn't too much of a problem, not after I played Dragon Age 2. That's where things were REALLY weird. Like, one wrong option in the dialog - and boom. Anyway, Mass Effect 3 has bigger problems. And the main one is the ending (my opinion, of course).

Well it felt really lazy, since the main difference between the endings is the color of a big explosion, and personally I hate the fact that Shepard dies/disappears or whatever happens. Also, ending depends on how well did you perform during the game, and to get best ending you require to play multiplayer or mobile game. And that best ending only hints that Shepard survives in case you destroy all non-organic life in the galaxy.

The only ending that got me pissed off, was the ending to Hali 4. Β Because I saw Master Chief set the bomb and be in the center of the explosion. Β So to have him survive that made me angry . Β That is right, I wanted Master Cheif to die in Halo 4.

Well, there's a difference between Chief and Shepard. Chief is a character without much personality (IMHO), but Shepard is a person you create and evolve throughout 3 games, every decision you make, every line that he speaks matters. And that character, which is easy to associate yourself with, must die? But some armored silent goon from Halo survives even in the center of explosion? Give me a break.

I'm a gamer since the Atari 2600 times. And I don't ever remember people actually demanding a game ending to be changed because it was bad. If that doesn't show how much Bioware screwed up...

Yeah, I at first I would say that it was only me, who doesn't like ending with sacrifices, but reaction of many gamers shows that this is really bad. It's just lazy and stupid. And totally not worthy to be an ending for such an epic trilogy.

I'd say ending is the major flaw of this game (or even of the whole trilogy). Overall, game was good and sucked me in just like other ones, even though it's VERY similar to ME2, they just removed a couple of features, that's all. Oh, also I didn't like the bug with ME1-generated characters import. But I surely can't find a dozen of problems here

Among my quibbles are the lack of Turian and Drell women, Joker and Zaeed not romanceable, Kal'Reegar dying without a chance to be saved with a paragon interrupt, Jacob being a cheating asshole, Udina ending up Councilor no matter what your choice was in ME1, changed makeup options, Protheans being retconned, and Kai Leng turning into a 15-year-old's taunty weeaboo GaryStu ninja fantasy. There may be others, these are just the ones I can think of at the moment. One of the links in the last line of my signature is a semi-satirical version of how I thought ME3 should have been… xD

Uh-huh, well, this stuff wouldn't hurt the game. But I don't think that's such a big problem. And it would be too much to ask Bioware to make almost every character available for romance. Though another reason why I didn't like the ending so much is because it absolutely destroys all romance. No happy end anyway, even if Shep survives he will be thousands of light years away from his team and loved ones. That was really disappointing.
