PART 2: [link]I've promised myself that I'll start making a new comic as soon as I complete Mass Effect 3, but I had totally different plans!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game pretty much, even if it looks like Mass Effect 2 with some downgrades. That ending... Damn, I can't remember when I was disappointed so much last time. So... I put my disappointment into this. I wish someone could warn me like that
The main theme is, of course, Mass Effect, and I think it's easy to see some Metal Gear stuff. Also there are references to Metalocalypse (gosh, I hope I made it recognizable enough) and Red Alert 3. Can you find them?

But that's the most disappointing thing. That Shep is you, who got through fire and flames during two great games, and... Seeing this ending... I just don't know.

For what I gather, you need 100% military readiness to get the Shepard lives ending, but it's just an 20 second scene, not really whorth it. But, have you seen this video? Maybe there is still a little shred of hope in the end: [link] Seriously, if this end up beign true and we can continue the story with an post ending DLC, then Bioware had just became the ultimate evil geniuses.

He only lives if you choose to destroy all synthetics. Readiness and assets had really no bearing on anything. Finished one play through with the 4000 and 70% and my second was with over 6400 at 100% and it was completely irrelevant. Really holding out for the Indoctrination Theory to be true and some DLC that amends that whole mess...

You mean the Equestria version of Mass Effect 3 also brings an end to any possible restoration of a galactic economy and invalidates any and all choices that Commander Shepard made in the past two games? *looks over at the paper and pen sitting on the desk*

I assume Equestria version looks pretty same, just with some ponies. So, yeah. And it would be better if Twilight's plan worked out. Banishment to the moon won't change much

FYI, you don't have to play multiplayer. I got the best ending (ie, synthesis) just by saving both the Geth and Quarians, and doing all the sidemisisons and other optional war asset gathering.
EA have stated you don't need to play multiplayer to get the best ending, there's more than enough misisons to get it.

I had synthesis too. For me, the best ending is the one where Shep lives. I really don't like sacrifices and stuff. And I have some doubts in what EA says. Even bonuses from DLCs, friendship between quarians and geth, a lot of side missions couldn't give me more then 3500 points. And I don't like even their best ending.

Well, I managed 5k-ish, without multi. At 4k Shepard lives, if you made the correct choices in ME 2. Otherwise it's 5k.
But it is easily do-able, trust me. Just go around discovering all the assets, and do all the side missions. All of them. AND the little things like Turret Control Schematics, turning away refugees at the Docking Bay, getting C-Sec to focus on the war and ignore small crimes, that sort of thing.

Still, I'm not sure how much of an issue it will be for me when I finally get round to playing it. I seem to have a habit of rejecting bad endings to epic stuff and replacing it in my mind with something awesome. Like when the supersonic dinosaurs ate Mel gibson at the end of Signs. Wait.....

the mor ei read about mess effect 3 the more i dont want to play the game. multiplayer to get a better ending? i really hate online playing. ah whatever, mess effect 3 sucks, wich is a shame since 1 and 2 were at least good/decent games.
good comic though, did you draw that al by yourself or did you copy some of the images? just asking because it looks just like in the show.

Well, I draw everything by myself and I'm trying to stay very close to original style. Though this time I used some stuff from my previous comic to save some time.
And about mass effect... Maybe you should wait about a year, maybe there'll be some dlcs to change the situation. The game is pretty good by itself, even though I would give it number 1.9 instead of 3.
